A compilation of the blog entries I wrote while travelling around the world. After years living in Dubai, I began the trip in Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Meeting up with friends, we caught the World Cup in Cape Town and traveled overland through Africa. After a brief hiatus to apply to business school, I traveled overland from Lithuania to Japan. Next, I bounced around Asia, visiting India, the Philipines and Thailand, before Christmas in New Zealand and a campervan trip through Australia. Finally, I finished off the trip with 4 months in South America, completing some epic hikes, visiting Carnival, and climbing my first 6000m peak. The story is about the journey and the everyday experiences you face on the road. The title refers to my experience both as a graduate from Dartmouth College and the fact that I was accepted to the Tuck School of Business while I traveled (hence returning to where I first began).
